Nj Wedding Venue Announces Closure After 16 Years
Sterling Gardens, a wedding venue in Matawan, is closing after 16 years in business. Google Earth
Sterling Gardens, a wedding venue and banquet hall in Matawan, has announced it is shuttering.
For 16 years, the venue held weddings, luncheons and other events. It is located at 227 Freneau Avenue.
The company said in a on July 24 that the pandemic has taken its toll on Sterling Gardens and has forced us to sell the property.
It is unclear if the venue already is closed.
Repeated phone calls, emails and messages on social media to Sterling Gardens went unanswered, and the companys website has been changed to a single page featuring the same closing message that was posted on Facebook.
Unfortunately, the new owners will not continue operating the property as a banquet facility, . We wanted to thank all our customers and staff throughout the years.
This is the second New Jersey wedding venue to announce its closure in the past month.
West Oranges Mayfair Farms closed on June 30 after 80 years of business.
