When it comes to wedding venues in Disneyland, there are plenty to choose from. Youll find venues for every budget, from pocket-friendly budget weddings to lavish affairs. Disney has four locations on both coasts, one of which is on the water. This means you have four stunning locations to choose from for your dream wedding in Disney. You can get married at Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, on a Disney Resort & Spa, the luxurious Disney Cruise Line, or a white-sand Hawaiian beach at Aulani.
Walt Disney World Weddings
For Walt Disney World, Disneys Fairy Tale Weddings has a unique pricing structure. Essentially, the team at Disney Weddings will set an event minimum expenditure limit that you must meet. That minimum is determined by the ceremony venue you want to use, as well as the day of the week and the time of day that you want to get married. Generally, lower minimums tend to apply to weekdays, while higher minimums tend to apply to holidays and weekends.
What costs can count toward that minimum expenditure amount? Well, your Ceremony Venue Fee and certain Disney Weddings Service elements can be used toward your event minimum. The wedding services that count towards your event minimum are food and beverage, floral, decor, photography, entertainment, and transportation.
There are a range of event minimums for different venues. There are some venues, for example, in Disneys Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disneys Polynesian Village Resort that have event minimums between $5,000 and $15,000.
Other places have event minimums between $7,000 to $17,000.
If you want to get married at places like Destino Plaza or some others, youll be looking at minimums in the range of $8,000 to $20,000.
Thinking of getting married at the Tower of Terror or in front of the Tree of Life? Expect to spend quite a bit more! Those venues generally have event minimums in the range of $15,000 to $25,000.
The Disney Wedding Pavilion has an event minimum of $10,000 to $35,000.

For those of you planning a Disneyland wedding and have not yet signed a contract, I have some difficult news to share with you. According to the DisneyWeddings.com website, the overall price minimums for Disneyland weddings have increased. I do not have specific details for the new pricing or even when the new pricing went into effect . All I can share, for now, is whats listed on the official Disneys Fairy Tale Weddings website.
The changes are as follows:
Escape weddings
$6500 all inclusive with a 5 night room block$8000 without the room block. This is for 20 people , offered Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. However, the website indicates Escape Weddings are also offered on Friday and Sunday at 10am, 11am, or 12pm and does not indicate any pricing difference. It also says Friday and Sunday Escape weddings can be booked up to 1 year in advance, instead of the standard 6 months.
Wishes weddings

How Much Does It Cost To Rent Out Magic Kingdom
Packages start at a whopping $180,000, but its your chance to rent out Magic Kingdom for the evening. There are also a number of designated wedding venues throughout the park you can rent. They allow for privacy but none of them include the option of renting out an entire theme park or resort hotel.

On an enchanting private island, Disneys Wedding Pavilion on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon is available with a $10,000 – $35,000 event minimum and Magic Kingdom will put the largest dent in your wallet. A majestic ceremony around Main Street, USA with perfect views of Cinderellas Castle will set you back between $20,000 and $50,000.
Venue fees and any additional service elements like entertainment, food, décor, photography, and transportation, can be used towards your event minimum. A day-of coordinator is always included in the price of your event at Disney World and all Disney wedding locations.

Just like the California park and hotel options, packages at the Aulani resort include an Escape and Wishes package.
The Escape package starts at $4,700 for up to 18 guests including the couple with a $1,000 deposit. The package includes a one-hour ceremony, a photographer for couple and group photos, an officiant, a guitarist or ukulele player, bottled water for everyone and a signature wedding gift. A lei, bouquet or boutonniere is also included. A four-night minimum stay at the resort is also required for the couple and their guests that starts at $1,976 depending on the type of room and seasonal pricing. Venue options include Aloha Point, with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean the Kula Wai outdoor space for night weddings and Sunset Alcove for beach weddings.
The Wishes package starts at $11,600 also for an 18-guest minimum. The ceremony includes two hours of time with a photographer, music from a ukulele player, a guitarist or a harpist, an audio technician, an officiant, a rehearsal ceremony and many other amenities. Three venues are available for the ceremony: the Halawai Lawn and AMA AMA Patio for $9,600each, or the Lanikuhonua lawn with an ocean view for $18,600.

Happily Ever After On A Budget
Before the pandemic, the average cost of a wedding and reception in the U.S. was $28,000. And post-pandemic, that price is expected to increase. So how much wedding can you get with $28,000 at Disney? A moderate venue with 30-40 guests and maybe some magical enhancements for the cake and florals. The key is to be flexible. A Tuesday morning ceremony is significantly cheaper than a Saturday evening reception, so more couples are opting for brunch weddings as a way to get into their dream venue or afford a la carte magic such as a character appearance or Disney entertainment.
Two other factors to consider in the sliding scale of minimums are the catering and the guest count. The skys the limit with what the Disney culinary team can do. They can serve your favorite park foods or even recreate a family recipe. And the cakes are jaw-droppingly gorgeous with ornate decorations, designs inspired by iconic Disney movies, and flavors inspired by popular treats such as churros and the gray stuff from Beauty and the Beast. But just like park fare, food gets expensive. Prices are based per person with dinner at $190, lunch at $165, and brunch at $140. This does go toward your minimum, but the additional 6.5% sales tax and 25% labor and gratuity service charge do not. And those add up fast.
We Got To Have A Dessert Party And You Can Splurge For A Bridesmaid Tea Party Or Cruise
After our wedding ceremony, we had a dessert party. Typically, these events are used for watching Disney’s fireworks and eating desserts. Because of the pandemic, Disney wasn’t doing fireworks, so we adjusted our plan.
We also took into consideration the Florida heat. We shortened our reception to only brunch, and then later in the evening, once the weather cooled down, we held a party for dancing, cake, and desserts.
This allowed our guests to go back to their hotels and rest before the party portion of our event. In between events, my bridal party even headed over to Universal Studios for a few hours.
We held our dessert party at Whitehall Patio at the Grand Floridian, which featured the famous Monorail flying right over us.
For a higher cost, we could’ve added a farewell brunch, a bridesmaid tea party , and a dessert cruise to our wedding.

How Much Does It Cost To Get Married In Disney World
And the higher the venue fee bracket, the higher the minimum spend. So, even though the cheapest location costs $2,500, with the necessary minimums, the cheapest wedding at Disney starts at $5,000. And that also means Cindys pad isnt just $30K. The minimum spend for just a ceremony at the castle is $50,000.
How Can You Stay In Cinderellas Castle
Therefore, unfortunately, making a reservation for Disneys Cinderella Castle is impossible. It is only offered to prize winners and very occasionally Disney VIPs. The Cinderella Castle Tour offers you access to the Suite, but you cannot stay overnight. Money cant buy a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite.202196.
