Tower Hill Botanic Garden Wedding Venue

Jessie and Chris ceremony in the light-filled Limonaia building seemed like the perfect place to say I do. With an arched glass ceiling, it had us wishing that every indoor ceremony we photographed looked as ethereal as this one! These two really personalized their ceremony, with hand-written vows and passages by Kahlil Gibran and the Velveteen Rabbit. Tt was such a true representation of Jessie and Chris. We had a wonderful time spending the day with you guys and hope youre enjoying Kauai, the best island in the Hawaiian chain! )

THE STORY

The first time Evan Hogan asked for Carleen Les phone number, she turned him down. It was 2012 and they were both employees at a Nissan franchise south of Boston. He was attracted to her ambition and kindness, but Carleen wasnt immediately interested. Sometimes youre just in your own space, and youre like, Thank you, but no,’ she explains. Still, Evan continued to be nice and polite, he says, adding, I wasnt too pushy. Eventually, after they continued to get to know each other, Carleen agreed to go out to dinner and a movie. Evan drove her home afterward, and they had their first kiss in her driveway. He was just the sweetest peach, Carleen says. He is genuinely one of the nicest and funniest people Ive ever met. Their relationship progressed swiftly from there: Friends and family were enthusiastic supporters of their relationship, and it didnt take long for the two to move in together later that same year.

THE DETAILS

Carleens bridal party wore black, and her maid and matron of honors dresses were also adorned with gold detailing. Their bouquets featured garden roses, peonies, and ruscus.

Carleen and Evan had their first look outside just as it began to rain. She came underneath the umbrella with me, and it was really nice, the groom says. For the beginning of the couples day, Carleen donned a dress that her aunts mother made for her own daughters wedding 25 years ago.

If you love orchids go see the orchid exhibition every summer. They also have a section where you can buy your orchid supplies. They also have greenhouses with beautiful flowers and trees.

West Boylston, Massachusetts, United States

Any time of year is beautiful here. The view over the water right now is breathtaking in summer the gardens flourish in spring the hillside of daffodils blazes with sunshine and in the winter there is great joy to be had in the Orangerie where its warm and lush green with fountains and music to soothe winter weary souls.

A beautiful place to walk, relax or take photos of nature. The views are great. The flowers are gorgeous. I went twice this year during summer and Fall. The Lilies were all amazing and in different colors. My photos are wonderful and I had a wonderful time walking around, just me and nature. Everything was just perfect.

Intimate Wedding Ceremonies Already Operating Under New State Guidelines At Tower Hill Botanic Gardens

Tower Hill Botanic Garden Wedding: Debbie and Jonathan

Wedding coordinator Brittni Menard knows the challenges the venue and couples face well â sheâs also planning her own this year.

Menard, the manager of events at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens, says, âI feel like that helps. Iâm able to empathize with them. I understand what theyâre going through. No one expected this to happen.â

Tower Hill weddings are much smaller these days. The Boylston venue wonât have to make any changes with the governorâs latest reopening rollback because they’ve already limited capacity to 25 people.

Robert Burgess, Tower Hillâs communications manager, says, âThat gives us the wiggle room in case itâs a rain date. They can move into one of our larger conservatories.â

âMost of the weddings are taking place in the evening hours after the gardens are closed so thereâs few people here to begin with,â Mark Richardson, Tower Hillâs director of horticulture, adds.

Almost all wedding ceremonies take place in the secret garden. Guests are required to wear masks and couples can choose whether or not they wear them during the ceremony. Tower Hill typically hosts 35-50 weddings, but itâs different this year.

âA lot of people still want to get married. They donât know how they can do that. They want to make sure everyone is safe while having their ceremony and that their guests arenât at any more risk, but still get to enjoy those moments together,â Menard adds.

Tower Hill Botanical Garden Wedding Restrictions

A Tower Hill Botanical Garden wedding is one of the most beautiful venues to choose from. However, there are some restrictions that you should be aware of. The first is if you are getting married in the on-season May September, your wedding cannot include more than 120 guests. That number falls to only 50 guests in the off-season February April, due to limited availability.

Tower Hill also does not have a bridal suite on location, mainly due to their primary function as a botanical garden. Without a bridal suite to get ready in, you will need to arrive at the site fully dressed and ready for the ceremony.

The elopement package will include the couple and up to 20 guests for an hour-long rental in the garden of your choice. There will not be food, drinks, or chairs, which makes it the perfect ceremony for pictures before heading to a reception somewhere else. If you are a couple with a small circle who wants things to be short and sweet, this package is for you!

You can also choose the standard wedding ceremony, which can have up to 120 guests. It comes with a ceremony and a long reception in whatever location you want. This is more expensive, but it is perfect for a more traditional wedding with many guests.

Melissa And Ryan Waited A Long Time For Their Perfect Tower Hill Botanic Garden Wedding And Oh Was It Worth The Wait

Tower Hill is one of my most favorite venues, and after not having been for so long because of the pandemic, I think Melissa and I were equally excited for this very special day.

Their wedding day started at Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, where we entered a room full of happy, laughing bridesmaids. Any day that starts with confetti filled balloons is my kind of day! I knew this would be a good one right from the start. Well, if were being honest, I knew this was going to be a good one long before this day even arrived.

Melissa attended my virtual cocktail hours last year and was 100% on top of planning for photos. She had all of her details ready for me and an extra bundle of flowers from her sweet florist Danielson for me to use for styling. I was also given a completely separate room with lots of space + beautiful light, hence the extra lay-flat detail work!

Family is so important to Melissa, so while her bridesmaids got ready across the hall, she and her sister got ready together with a mix of laughs and almost-tears before dad came in for the first first look.

Ryan got ready with the help of the dads, his brother, who is also his best man and best buds. The guys were easygoing and all smiles and ready for this big, big day.

Melissa and Ryan had trolleys ready to take them over to Tower Hill Botanic Garden for their first look in West Boylston. This was a rare hot day, but well take that over the rain that the forecast had threatened.

And All The Magical Moments That Made It

Miranda and Drews Greek Wedding at Tower Hill Botanic Garden was beyond beautiful, but also filled with those meaningful moments and pure joy that bring us back to time and time again. These two were so excited to spend the day with family and friends after the long bout of separation because of Covid. But they spent their pandemic time wisely, and learned a new skill that they brought with them to the wedding dancing! And wow, did they dance. From their beautifully-choreographed first dance in the Orangerie at Tower Hill where their wedding reception was to the traditional Greek dancing and finally the PACKED dance floor to finish out the night.

Drew and the guys had genuine bow ties, which are classic and so so worth it. But they take some experience! And a quick YouTube study and groomsmen Phil stepped up to the plate. But the end result was perfectionyoull see!

Miranda and her ladies got ready for the wedding day at her parents home, just down the road from our portrait studio in Bolton. We arrived as they were practicing their Greek wedding line dance that would open up the dance floor that night.

Mirandas sister and mom helped her into her gown, and dad got to see her first. Then the big reveal with the bridesmaids!

Their wedding was at the GORGEGOUS Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Marlboro, MA. Mirandas smile lit up the entire church as she walked down the aisle, and I love the glance to her mom just before she got to Drew.
