How To Find Your Perfect On

Your wedding stationery creates such atmosphere and tone when it comes to your wedding table decor. Its essential for giving accurate information to your guests so your day runs clearly , but also can look amazing if you choose wisely.

Its always best to go with your gut when it comes to choosing your wedding stationery. Youll get that vibe as soon as you see it, but its also advisable to order a sample. That way you can feel the quality in your own hands and see the intricate details that may not be visible on a screen .

I would also recommend sticking to one stationery design throughout for cohesion and clarity. Matching your on-the-day stationery will really bring together your wedding tables and decor. But if you fancy a different style invitation before the day, that totally works too.

What To Do During A Wedding Rehearsal:

  • Heres how I typically run a rehearsal:

  • Introduce myself

  • Run through the basic timings of the wedding day

  • I bring printed out copies of the timeline for every person in attendance. I previously sent an email version of that timeline to every VIP at least one week before the wedding.

  • Line everybody up

  • Do this right where everyone is already situated. Then move them to the place where theyll line up before entering the ceremony.

  • If the wedding is between a bride and a groom, tradition puts the bride on the left and the groom on the right. This is supposedly so he can better pull out his sword if he needs to fend off any competing suitors. Take that as you will.

  • Begin sending people down the aisle

  • If there are more than 10 people proceeding down the aisle, I cue the next person or couple to proceed in when the previous person or couple is halfway down the aisle. If there are fewer than 10 people proceeding down the aisle, the pace can be slower .

  • Once everyones in place, step back and see how things look

  • Does everyone have enough room? Is there some breathing space between the front row of the audience and the people standing at the front of the ceremony? Are the lines on either side symmetrical?

  • Make any necessary tweaks and ask if anyone has questions or concerns

  • As needed and time permitting, run through it one more time

  • Wear More Makeup Than You Would On Any Day

“Doing makeup to be photographed is a different ball game than a casual look,” says Rubin. “While you may be hesitant, in the case of photography, more is more.” Rubin says adding color to your lips will keep you from looking washed out while Fuller advocates for more blush than you might be used to.
