How To Create Your Own Centerpieces With Fiftyflowers
I was planning to create these elaborate centerpieces with floral foam but then I lucked out.
My caterer let me know that she had leftover centerpieces from previous weddings including vases in all shapes and sizes, candles, and lanterns in four different colors.
I was sold. By using her vases, lanterns, and candles, I could cut down on the amount of flowers I needed for the wedding and save myself time.
I still put a small arrangement of flowers in a vase on a few cocktail tables but nothing elaborate like I had planned prior. So most of the tables had lanterns and individual flowers around them and then cocktail tables had vases with flowers.
If I had chosen to create my own centerpieces with floral foam, I would have purchased wet floral foam versus the dry floral foam.
While I didnt use this approach, another money-saving tip is to alternate centerpieces at every table to cut costs.
Arranging Your Floral Centerpiece
The order in which you arrange your flowers is absolutely up to you! Different processes work for different minds, but I generally arrange my flowers in the order of the flower categories listed above, working with one type of flower at a time, saving a few stems in each to add the final touches at the end.

How To Store Artificial Flowers
You can store your artificial flowers quickly and effortlessly. We recommend using the Nearly Natural box that your faux flowers came in. So, remember, don’t throw this box away. It serves as storage for when you’re not using the flowers. When you do decide to re-use the flowers, use a feather duster for cleaning.

How To Source Flowers For A Diy Bouquet
First things first, decide the type of blooms you want to incorporate into your bouquet. According to Caroline Eells, founder and lead designer of Passiflora Studio, its important to start by considering the style of your wedding dress, as it will reflect the tone of the entire wedding. Then, consider your color palette. Eells suggests thinking about whether youd prefer complementary colors or if youd love to integrate contrasting colors to add a bit of drama.

Leave The Flowers To Open Up
The flowers are super dehydrated when they are delivered so you have to take them out of the boxes and put them in water immediately.
You can use buckets similar to the orange ones you see at Home Depot and fill them up with four inches of water each.
The flowers need a lot of water to open up and bloom further. Dont freak out if your blooms look closed when you get them. Its part of the process.
Postscript: Making A Big Floral Arrangement Without Foam
It is possible to make a big arrangement without floral foam, and there are many ways of going about this.
Its best if you are using a wide-mouthed or trumpet-styled vase, as the wider opening will give you more maneuverability. The easiest method to a foam-free design is to utilize hydrangea as the base of the design and thread the remaining flowers through it. Chicken wire can also be helpful for stability.
The main drawback to this approach is if you have a client who doesnt want to see flower stems. If you plan on using this technique, be sure you communicate well with your client.

Use Gold Spray Paint To Spruce Up Succulents
Succulents are naturally stunning, but if you want to incorporate metallic gold or silver details into your arrangements, spray-paint a few, and use them as name cards or as pops of color in your tablescape.
DIY Cost: Succulents $4 to $12, depending on the size + Krylon metallic gold spray paint, $7.
I Recommend 15 Stems For Bridesmaids And 25 Stems For The Bride
I purposely bought the extra greenery pack so I could make the bouquets look more full without having to buy more flowers. I planned to use 15 stems each for the bridesmaid bouquets and 20 to 25 stems for my bridal bouquet.
Wrap stems with floral tape then add stems
To create bouquets, you typically take four stems and wrap them withfloral tape to create a base. You then add stems around the base to create the bouquet.
My bridesmaids and I posed with the bundle until we liked what we saw.
I had to deviate from the original plan a little bit to get the best look possible but I was thrilled with how the bouquets came out!

Set A Reminder To The Event
As physical wedding cards can sometimes be misplaced, some wedding goers forget to call in to confirm their attendance. Because of that, many weddings get fewer attendees than the invitations sent.
As the use of physical invitations can cost a couple of funds to make one, their save-the-date print can sometimes be ineffective for their guests.
Due to its ineffectiveness, the use of digital wedding cards through QR codes is introduced.
As QR codes can store any data that a user can think of, setting a reminder to the event can help attendees get reminded of the event date.
What Are The Best Types Of Wedding Flowers
Wedding flowers are usually sorted by name , color , and style . Because specific flower requests and wedding theme colors vary greatly, well focus on the types of wedding flowers worth knowing for centerpiece designs. These options are cost-effective, beautiful, and fairly easy to get ahold of.
Gerbera Daisies. Check out these pink wedding centerpieces.

Sunflowers. They pair really well with blue and white flowers. View these gorgeous examples for inspiration.
Orchids. Here are 25 sophisticated bouquets to copy.

What The Bridesmaid Bouquets Looked Like:
If you have to skimp on bouquets, skimp on the bridesmaid bouquets. Yes, I just said that but its true. Its important for the brides bouquet to look great for pictures but no one really looks at the bridesmaids bouquets, even in the group pictures.
I dont think youll have to do that but just a headsup. I made the bridesmaids bouquets a little smaller from a rose perspective and just stuffed with more greenery. Keep this in your back pocket as a backup plan.

How To Make Wraps For The Bouquets
The last step is to wrap the finished bouquet with ribbon, burlap, or lace. At first I was going to go with a gold sparkly wrap but decided on burlap.
We used pins to secure the burlap. I finished off the bouquets with a champagne satin ribbon.
You cant do this until before the wedding because the flowers have to stay in water.
