1. To measure your bust, always measure the widest part of your chest, around your back and across your nipples. This is your busts total circumference area.

If you go that route, she recommends looking over the shopâs size guide thoroughly to ensure youâre ordering the correct size. She also advises noting the companyâs return and exchange policy, so you donât end up stuck with a dress thatâs not the one.
And, if youâre not already married to a specific type of dress, there are styles that will minimize the time frame. âYou could keep the process super simple and compressed by looking at dresses that are stretch fabric, which means almost no alterations are needed,â Conley says. âOr, opt for a short dress, so you donât have to worry about hemming. For options like that, the process could be done in under a month if the gowns are in stock.â
