I get that it’s better to register for more items than less, so your guests have plenty to choose from. What I don’t get, is the advice “at least 1-2 items per guest”. Shouldn’t that be per household? My thinking is, for example, Uncle Bob and his wife Aunt Susie aren’t going to each get us a gift, they’re going to get 1 gift and mark it “from us”.
We have about 110 guests/50 households on the invite list. The 110 guest count includes kids/teenagers. I feel like registering for 100-ish items will be plenty, but that’s not the internet says.
Ladies who have already been through this, what was your experience? Did you have a lot of households pick multiple items off your registry , or was it one gift per family?
