For an outdoor country wedding, you may have to walk on grass, which means wedges and a dress that wont drag to the floor. The Question: Whats The Proper Attire For A Wedding

I was invited to a 5pm wedding ceremony held at a chapel. The reception is being held at a very nice hotel.

I have read that your attire should go by the invitations style. I have a few choices but am a little indecisive. My friend is a laid back person who loves color, but I fear that her wedding will be slightly formal.

My first option is to wear a cute red-violet halter style dress with a few sequins and my second option is a pair of tan tweed flair trousers that have a hint of dark brown and pink with a cute pink silk tank and a dark pink tailored tweed jacket. I like them both but am leaning towards the trouser set. What do you think would be appropriate? I need help.

Going to a dream beach / destination wedding? Try option for one of our key summer fabrics listed above, with particular preference leaning towards linen or seersucker. The cool, lightweight, breathable nature of these fabrics will ensure that you look both dapper and remain cool at the same time.

Ideally, your cotton or linen shirts should have a softer collar to match the less structured / half lined summer suit jackets that we have discussed above.

With regards to accessorizing your beach / destination wedding suits, we recommend selecting printed silk ties or silk knit ties variants that do not exhibit excess sheen when exposed to sunlight. A more subdued tie pattern and fabric can work exceptionally well during the summer months! If you do opt for a silk tie during the summer, we suggest going with a lighter colored silk tie or a silk / linen blend.
