Star Review On The Knot
Reviewed On 1/28/2020 by Ginn S
“We found our wedding at Hotel Maya to be such a wonderful experience as we look back, the word that always comes to our minds is “perfect”. Ariel, the hotel’s catering manager, was exceptionally helpful in making sure that everything was in place and ensuring that the wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch she was very accommodating and was a pleasure to work with. The venue itself was very nice, with several options on the hotel grounds as to where to have the ceremony/reception . We selected the Jardin de Palmeras for the ceremony, and the reception was conveniently held in the adjacent Luna Solstice. Ariel worked diligently to ensure that both areas were set up to our preference the result was two beautifully decorated spaces that allowed for a perfect flow from ceremony to reception. We had a guest list of about 60 people, which they were able to comfortably accommodate. The hotel did offer group discount on room blocks, however most of our guests were local so we did not take advantage. In all, we were so happy to have selected Hotel Maya the venue is beautiful and the staff were attentive and a pleasure to work with.”

Rancho Los Alamitos Long Beach Wedding Minister
As a Long Beach wedding minister, I have gotten to know the city well. One of my favorite Long Beach wedding venues is the calm and secluded Rancho Los Alamitos The Rancho was built in the early 19th century during the late Spanish rule of the area. At one time, the Rancho was given authority over nearly all of Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, and Stanton. Today, the Rancho is confined to a humble hill in the center of a quiet Long Beach neighborhood, reminding visitors of simpler times. The original ranch house still stands today, enveloped by tree-lined courtyards and lush gardens.
