I had chance to capture Umir and Stacys wedding here in January and this has become one of my favorite Wedding Venues in Houston. a combination of spacious rooms, a beautiful bridal suite, beautiful balcony with Downtown Houstons View which is perfect for Bridal and Couples portrait at Night, makes Crystal Ballroom significantly stands out from others. The Crystal Ballroom is a 1913 historic ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houstons Rice Hotel. Originally the capitol of the Republic of Texas, this is one of Houstons most unique and historic landmarks

The Houston Museum Of Natural Science
Now, this is a massive museum, for sure. But, the great thing about the Houston Museum of Natural Science and its 12 unique event spaces, is they are variously sized and some are perfectly suited for more intimate gatherings. Whether youre looking for a galactic affair under the stars at Burke Baker Planetarium Theatre or youd rather exchange vows near the reconstructed bones of T-Rex, theres likely a gallery or hall at this Houston wedding venue to fit your needs.
Crystal Ballroom At The Rice
Situated in downtown Houston, the Crystal Ballroom is a historic 1913 ballroom located in Houstons Rice Hotel.
While the exterior of the building is powerful and historic, the interior is romantic and timeless. The ballroom is decorated with breathtaking crystal chandeliers, mahogany French doors, tall ceilings, and a gorgeous open concept.
The full wrap-around balcony and covered terrace provide stunning views of the city, while the ballroom itself has a full stage and dance floor.
While this venue is ideal for large weddings, the Crystal Ballroom does offer a small, yet still equally as brilliant, Empire Room, for a more intimate wedding.
While couples must use the Crystal Ballrooms in-house catering company, there are multiple packages offered that can be tailored to fit the needs and tastes of each couple.

I love it when I see a wedding in a space that is so out of left-field but turns out so beautifully, you wonder why no one thought of it sooner. Thus, I am constantly scouring the internet for new or non-traditional venues to hold a wedding. I decided to share with you seven of my favorite below-the-radar Houston wedding venues. Featuring libraries, restaurants, theaters and parks, some venues on this list will make you scratch your head, but trust me any of them would make for a beautiful wedding! I plan to feature seven venues for Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio as well in the near future. Dallas Arboretum And Botanical Garden
This is the best outdoor wedding venue in Dallas-Fort Worth Area and possibly all of Texas for several reasons. First, there are so many gardens to choose from with varying capacities and different layouts. In fact, there are 18 ceremony locations divided between daytime and evening availability.
Second, you can have a ceremony, a ceremony with a reception, a micro-wedding, or an elopement indoors or outdoors. Rosine Hall is the largest reception location with a maximum capacity of 500 guests, while DeGolyer Loggia is better suited for up to 100 guests and features a brick patio with a stunning lake view.
