they’ve been $200-400 for a while, i know even right after i was engaged, i saw that it cost that much for oheka castle. But again, depending on day of week and month. Someone i know wanted to get married thanksgiving eve of 09 at oheka and the prices were similar to the $150 range and 5k site fee but thats also bc its a wednesday

ITA Also, a lot of people on this site are spending quite a bit on their weddings. If your budget is $30k or $60k what’s $11k of it? It’s all relative, in my opinion. If you spend that much on the place, maybe you don’t spend as much on a band or a dress or a honeymoon, I think it depends how you budget. Some people are spending $9k on a band for 4hrs, I don’t see how that’s very different. Just my opinion, though and not trying to insult at all.

The grounds are beautiful/breathtaking. The staff is great. We were at the Castle for a wedding and really enjoyed the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The food, which I presume was cooked by the hotel chef was good. It is an extremely unique setting. The library was a real treat. I would highly recommend a visit.

The grounds are just breathtaking. If you are looking for an amazing venue this has it all. The executive chef has designed a great menu and it is executed so well. We stayed during a critical part of home renovation, was a smart move. We enjoyed our time there very much. I’ve been to both corporate and wedding events here and I was very impressed.
