Cliffside Ocean View Ceremony
It was a beautiful day for a wedding at Bel-Air Bay Club with clear blue skies and views for days. The bride and groom were ready to say their vows. The palm trees were swaying, the sound of the waves crashing in the background, it was finally the moment they had all been waiting for. Katie’s bridesmaids stood by her side in beautiful black dresses and Dane’s groomsmen matched him in a tux and bowtie. As they stood under the floral arch, they exchanged lovely words of their future together and their forever love. Guests cheered as they said I Do and kissed for the first time as husband and wife!
After a beautiful ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour as we stole the bride and groom to explore all the endless photo opportunities at Bel-Air Bay Club. We walked along the paths lined with palm trees and made a pit stop at the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Perched above the coastline, Bel-Air Bay Club offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean for your wedding ceremony and reception. Built in 1927 and 1928 as part of project piloted by Alphonzo Bell, one of the primary dvelopers of Los Angeles, the venue was a social hub until the 1940s. Today, the club is a popular spot for gatherings, events and more. The grounds are located on a quarter mile of beachfront, and the Upper Club features an unobstructed view of both Santa Monica Bay and Catalina Island.
The entire Mediterranean-style mansion is yours for your wedding day. A variety of indoor and outdoor locations provide numerous possibilities for the celebration of your dreams. Choose the Cliffside Lawn, the sparkling Living Room lounge, the beautiful Courtyard Patio, formal Dining Room or the Oceanside Lanai to host your wedding ceremony or reception. There are a variety of floor plans available to suit your every desire, and the standard floor plans range from 75-275 guests. Additionally, a plethora of upscale items are available for use at no extra fee, including but not limited to, a dance floor, in-house linens and chiavari chairs. Guests will enjoy delicious dining from Executive Chef Peter Edwards and couples can rest assured that their every worry will be taken care of by the talented Bel-Air Bay Club staff.
Will Rogers State Historic Park
While made Beverly Hills his home in the late 1920s, in 1922 he bought a large plot of almost 200 acres of land above Sunset Blvd. to build a weekend cottage. He built a polo field on the property in 1926, and in 1928 he and his family made it their home. In 1944, nine years after Rogers died, the ranch became a state park. In the interest of historical preservation, the home is maintained as it was including the furniture and fixtures. It is open to the public most days with the exception of major holidays, although admission is required. The top of the property’s trail includes vistas of the ocean and city.

Sunset Wedding At Bel
After the first look and some bridal party portraits, we headed inside for the ceremony. The chose one of the ballrooms overlooking the ocean for their ceremony. There wasnt a dry eye in the room as they read their vows to one another! Once the couple said I Do, we snuck away for some sunset portraits while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. The sky was the perfect shade of pink and orange!
Next was the festive reception! Best Dream Weddings and her team made sure the reception looked gorgeous. The theme of navy and gold continued, with gold chairs, and navy napkins. Large floral displays were in the center, matching the brides bouquet of peonies and roses. Their four-tier cake took center stage with one tier completely covered in gold sequins! For their first dance, the couple had a Mariachi band come out, and serenade the couple. The night was filled with so much fun and dancing! Congratulations, Genesis and Carlos!

Use of a bridal and grooms suite is included in your wedding package, which means the bride and her bridesmaids can arrive four hours prior to the wedding and relax, prepare, and take in the glorious day to come. The groom and groomsmen can likewise arrive two hours ahead of time to dress or just enjoy one anothers company. Whats more, this venue has nine onsite rooms available for rent, so out-of-town wedding guests can stay just steps away from your wedding ceremony. Eagle Springs Fire Road Loop Trail is a 5.5 mile-long loop trail with 1,095 ft in elevation gain, located near the Palisades Highlands neighborhood. This is one of the few trails in Los Angeles County which is open to those on . Katie and Dane decided on a first look before the ceremony. We just love that intimate moment with only the bride and groom. Katie’s wedding gown was absolutely stunning and just so elegant. Dane was, of course, speechless when she walked out to see him for the first time.

The Via Bluffs and The Huntington Palisades are the neighborhoods that border the “village” proper to the south of , overlooking the ocean. The Via Mesa is located between Temescal Canyon on the west and Potrero Canyon on the east the Huntington Palisades is located between Potrero Canyon on the west and Chautauqua Boulevard on the east. Both of these neighborhoods are within walking distance to The Village and sit upon high bluffs that look out over the Pacific Ocean.
