An Intimate Wedding At Taft Museum Of Art

Tiffany and Rich at the Taft Museum of Art

2020 weddings came with a mix of reschedulings, downsizing, and cancellations. Taylor and AJ went the downsizing route and had a gorgeous intimate ceremony on their original wedding day at Taft Museum of Art.

Taylor is a wedding planner herself with Ivory Couture, so of course, all of the details for her day were perfect. Her florals were a mix of lush garden roses, fun pops of anemones, delicate tweedia touches and cascading vines for a natural garden-style look. The soft blue trailing silk ribbon was one of my favorite accents to compliment the bridesmaid dresses.

This wedding pre-dates Bridgerton, but I swear Taylor must know whats going to be in style, because her style is giving my major Duke and Duchess vibes.

Lindsey Zitzke photographed the day and you can really see the joy captured throughout.

After âswiping rightâ on each other, Cidney Fitzpatrick played hard to get, neglecting to return Brian Flossâs messagesâsomething Floss reminded her of when they happened to meet in person through mutual friends.

After an adventure-packed vacation spent with her sister in Key West visiting Brian, who moved to Florida shortly after their first date, on the 1,400-mile drive back Cidney decided he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

The bride works as a regional marketing partner, and the groom is a firefighter. The happy couple currently resides in Liberty Township.

Kyle was in high school when he got his wisdom teeth removed. Kelly nervously knocked on his front door to come visit him. His parents laughed that was the last time she ever knocked. From that point on, Kelly would come in through the side door, throw her hands in the air and announce Im here!. To know Kelly is to love her, and Kyle and his family were no exception!

Both Cincinnati natives, they are now living the busy New York City life. In fact, the priest that preformed their wedding ceremony laughed about being nervous to marry The Wall Street Power Couple.

When I think back to Zach & Krystals wedding the overwhelming emotion that I feel and a word I would use to summarize their day would be just genuine joyZach and Krystals wedding was this and so much more. I am not kidding when I say I loved every second of their dayfrom dodging some rain showers to laughing with the bridesmaids I just cant speak enough what a privilege it was to bear witness to their sweet love story. And the amazing people that surround this couple and spent the day loving on them and supporting them is just such a huge testament to the incredible people that Zach & Krystal are.I have no doubt they are going to do great things and have an wonderful marriage. Everything about their day was so sweet, from the hand-painted artwork by Krystals grandmother to the tears streaming down Zachs cheek as he saw his bride coming down the aisle. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Each wedding day I photograph is special to me, but theres something extra special about photographing the wedding day of someone I knew before the big day. Kristen & her beautiful daughters have been on the other side of my lens for many years. I was overjoyed for her when Troy popped the question, and delighted when she asked me to photograph it. The joy between Kristen & Troy on this day was something for the books. Their laughter vibrates off each other in the sweetest way. We all know that the goal is to marry someone who brings out the best in you. Someone that you can push forward in one way, while they push you forward in another. It doesnt take long to see that magic between Kristen & Troy. A perfect match.Heres a small look into their heartwarming wedding day.

This wedding was a long time coming. As Kyles dad joked at the rehearsal dinner, apparently Carrier men dont mature until age 32 which was the perfect time to marry the love of his life.

Pictures of young baby-faces in prom poses at their high school dances together filled the slideshow that played in the background at their rehearsal dinner. After 15 years in the making, their Taft Museum of Art Wedding was one of the most gorgeous weddings Ive ever been a part of.

Kelly and Kyle really assembled a dream team for their Taft Museum of Art Wedding. A huge thank you to each and every one of these incredible vendors! If you are looking for vendors for your wedding, here is where to look!

History Of The Taft Museum Of Art

The Taft Museum both the art and the building have a remarkable history. While William Howard Taft is the most famous member of the wealthy and powerful Taft family, the house was actually home of Williams half-brother, Charles Taft. Before the Tafts, the home was owned by a whos who of the richest, most powerful people in Cincinnatis history.

The mansion was built in 1820, by Martin Baum, an early mayor of the city, making it one of the oldest structures still standing in Cincinnati. Later owners include Nicholas Longworth, patriarch of the Longworth family and founder of the American wine industry, and then David Sinton, a pig-iron industrialist who was at the time one of the wealthiest men in America. Sintons only surviving child, Anna, married Charles Taft, and in fact it is Annas inherited wealth, rather than Taft industriousness, which built the art collection that was deeded to the city to be a public art museum that we now know as the Taft Museum of Art.

The Taft Museum of Art is a great Cincinnati Ohio venue. Everywhere I turned I saw another photo opportunity. Not too many people know this but I travel all over the state with no travel charge. I love photographing weddings in Cincinnati and Cleveland Ohio. It is nice to get out of Columbus and try something new. The Taft Museum of Art has a great grass area and back patio that can be covered with a tent and decorated very easily. I like the seating and the staff was very accommodating.
