The property is full of beautiful spots for any size wedding and reception, from intimate elopements to large soirees there are so many options on the property. One of my favorite spots at Folktale Winery is the Vineyard house.
Gardener Ranch
Gardener Ranch is a beautiful wedding venue that has onsite accommodations for for up to 40 guests. If you are looking for an intimate, retreat style wedding where you and your guests relax for the whole weekend this laid back, stunning property is perfect. While their peak season pricing is at a luxury price point they offer off season pricing and packages at an incredible value.
Holman Ranch
Holman Ranch is a retreat style wedding venue with 14 guest rooms on the property. The private estate setting is nestled high in the hills above Carmel Valley and surrounding vineyards. The art gallery/ cafe is a unique and architecturally interesting building. They offer small weddings for less than 30 or you could have a micro ceremony nearby and follow it up with an intimate dinner at COAST.
Glen Oaks Big Sur
If youre looking for towering redwoods this is the place. This lovely hotel has charming upscale rooms and the location is perfect for a romantic wedding. It also happens to be close to beautiful beaches.
Big Sur Stone House
This private residence is pretty far south but is a lovely property with a very small house providing overnight accommodations. Ideal for a wedding of less than 50.
Cutting The Cake: Luxury Carmel By The Sea Wedding
Easily one of the most AMAZING highlights of the day was sabering the champagne at the ceremony. Yes, sabering! As in, cut with a saber! John and Juliet had a saber engraved with their names that they also used to cut the cake- how epic is that? And then, John took some of the cake and threw it at his friends to catch in their mouths! Boys will be boys, right? Another really heartwarming detail of the day was also everyones speeches about the bride and groom, how Juliet has such a heart of gold, and how John is everyones best friend. I loved getting to witness how this fun-loving couple and their fun-loving friends and family!

Stewart’s Cove is one of our most popular Wedding Destinations. Tucked into a cove at the edge of Carmel, CA, this beautiful area has breathtaking views of hills as well as the Pacific Ocean. Point Lobos is visible just across the small bay.
This is a State Park location and it is available for reservation for your wedding. Felicia with the State Parks handles all the reservations for this location. You can reach her at 831-624-3407 to find out if your date and time are available, and to reserve your spot with her.
The fee for this spot is $1,000. You are required to have a $1,000,000 insurance liability policy, or you can simply use ours!
Monastery Beach, Carmel River State Beach, Stewart’s Cove, Middle Beach, Robert’s Beach
& Wedding Rock
This location is under the State Park System. There is a fee for using this beginning at $300 for a wedding without chairs, arches, musicians, etc. The fee increases as these items are added. The State Parks require that you have a $1,000,000 insurance policy to use these sites. Carmel Weddings carries this policy our fee is $75 to use our insurance.
If you are having a small wedding, 10 people or less, Carmel Weddings Elopement Package includes the State Park Fee. At this price, we are not allowed to offer decor such as arches, chairs, etc.

Weddings are memorable… at the Ranch there will only be one wedding each day, to ensure that your special day will be perfect! You could not ask for a better ceremony site with Point Lobos, Carmel River Beach and the ocean as a backdrop to all your photos.
Ceremonies can take place on a lush green lawn, with a dramatic entrance for the bride as she crosses over the picturesque bridge and pond, or on our more intimate brick patio. They used their Carmel Highlands estate that they were renovating as the venue for their luxury Carmel By The Sea wedding. The moment you walk in, you see a this beautiful bouquet by Fleurs Du Soleil, which absolutely warms up and welcomes you into the space. Their backyard served as a big, open reception space with hand-built structures to hold these flower chandeliers- arent they gorgeous? My Carmel By The Sea wedding photographer heart cant get enough!
Everything flowed so well as a home estate luxury Carmel By The Sea wedding. They really made their home into a venue! As such, we made sure to take advantage of the space and all the great lighting. Photos all around the estate really shined with this grand, high-end vibe! I was so stoked to work alongside John and Juliets event and wedding designer/planner, Colette Cuccia. She was absolutely amazing at tying in all the pretty things and bringing their vision to life!

How Did They Meet
We met back in 2002 in Monterey while attending Stevenson High School. Our friendship grew when John convinced me to join the school newspaper. We kept in touch throughout the years grabbing quick coffees, drinks, and dinners in cities ranging the coasts of the United States. Juliet went from being a winemaker to becoming an ophthalmologist and John transitioned from engineering to sales in litigation consulting. Always enjoying each others company, they reconnected in New York at the end of Juliets medical school training and we became more than just friends. Our love blossomed quickly and they started their adventures around the US and the world, from traveling around France to Croatia and from living in California, New York, Colorado and Texas.
