All of Oregons 363 miles of beach is free and public thanks to the 1967 Oregon Beach Bill. A wedding here simply requires a special use permit from Oregon Parks and Recreation. From Astoria to Brookings, the Oregon coast is the ideal place for couples looking to elope or plan a small wedding with iconic scenery Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, or maybe the black rock cliffs of Ecola State Park, Oregons coast has a mesmerizing beauty that makes it perfect for small weddings doors. Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden Portland

Originally developed as a test garden to observe the viability of rhododendron flowers in Portland in 1950, this venue has grown to an expansive garden that includes 100-year-old flowers, and 2,500 rhododendrons and azaleas.

These days, its also a favorite garden venue that offers three outdoor spaces for your nuptials.

The Jane Martin Site is best suited for small ceremonies or elopements. It includes a patio and a waterfall as a backdrop.

The Woodland Site is a private peninsula, shrouded by towering trees and water frontage. Its great for mid-sized ceremonies.

Last, but certainly not least, The Meadows features tall, native trees and flowers, surrounded by water on nearly every side.

The 9 acre garden has three ceremony/reception locations and several wooden bridges and trails that are perfect for a portrait session. Most couples choose to have their ceremony and portraits at the garden and then they continue on to a bar or restaurant for the reception and dinner. No. 9 Cooper Spur Mountain Resort I never get tired of photographing at Cooper Spur! This venue offers the option to rent out both the resort and/or the main lodge house across the street so that the entire guest list can hang out for the whole weekend! There is plenty of space to have the ceremony behind the lodge house with killer views of Mount Hoods peak. There is also a large yard behind the resort. If rain or snow is in the forecast, there is also an indoor space.
