Shannon and John were married at a brand new venue in SoCal: The Ranch at Laguna Beach. With their closest family and friends, the pair celebrated in an intimate non-fussy reception that included tons of personal details, plenty of help from family and friends, and a few DIYs. We are SO honored to share this sweet wedding with you, especially because our super fab friend, Josh Elliott Photography shot all of these gorgeous images. What made the wedding special and unique?
For both of us it was nice to have a small wedding with family and just a few close friends. It felt very intimate, not too busy, or hectic. The venue is a newest addition to a 9-hole golf course in town. We were the first wedding there, so it felt really special! It was outdoors, in a grove of eucalyptus trees in the back of a lush canyon the perfect venue for us! The weather was perfect and the day was smooth from start to finish. It was also extra special creating the vision for the day, piecing together the special touches, AND being the bride!

Family is everything to each of us- Phong and Megan
The weather was mild with the cool breeze brushing through the dreamy mountains of Laguna Beach. Phong and Megan taking deep breaths, prepare to celebrate with the most important people in their lives a stepping stone to forever with each other. A breath-taking space, The Ranch in Laguna Beach created a picturesque backdrop as they said I Do.
Emotions although fleeting in the moment were captured and solidified with each image in their collection. From Megans first look with her father to Phongs deep loving glance as she walked down the aisle to him.
Both shy and sweet, their timidness left a whispering affection as soft as the flowers that framed their smiles. Yet strong as the roots of the nearby forest that shaded them as the sun began to set behind the lush mountainside. Thank you so much again for having us a part of your gorgeous day.

Erin and Ted are 2 of the kindest people that weve ever had the chance to work with! I meantheir smiles literally light up the room. Since they live out of state and we only had a few weeks to plan, we worked quickly to make their dream wedding come to life at one of our favorite venues, The Ranch at Laguna Beach. Keeping with a traditional style and classic colors, we loved everything about their wedding day. One of our favorite design elements was the ceremony arch because the groom was so excited about it, we called it Teds arch:) With only a limited amount of guests present, the couple live streamed the ceremony to additional family & friends that couldnt be in attendance. We are beyond happy that in a year when weddings arent as common that Erin & Ted were still able to celebrate their love.

Bridal Suite And Grooms Parlor Details
The Bridal Suite is an incredibly special place. Its where you can get ready with your closest friends and family, and its also where youll spend the last few moments of your prep time before walking down the aisle.
Here, there has been created a space thats as beautiful as it is functional, so you dont have to worry about anything but looking great on your big day. The room features a large full-length mirror, so you can see every angle of your look from head to toe. There are also cozy chairs for you and your bridesmaids or family members to sit in while getting ready, as well as a vanity table for you to use during makeup application.
Cottage Two Bedroom Suite
Unlike any resort in Orange County, The Ranch at Laguna Beach features 20 two-level, two-bedroom cottages. With 1,125 square feet and over 300 square feet of outdoor space, the Cottages offer a half bath downstairs with full bath upstairs, upstairs bedrooms with a king bed and queen bed, first-floor patio and upstairs balcony.
